Yesterday, Robby from InstalCenter in Tongeren came by to install an extractor fan in our house, and he was extremely helpful. It was an extractor fan for the toilet and bathroom. He installed it neatly and quickly, both inside and outside (on the roof), in a very small space. Afterward, he gave a good explanation, including how to use the remote control, and the appliance is almost silent. Three other handymen had previously worked on this project, but none of them were successful. I'm incredibly happy with it, and therefore fully deserve 5 stars. The initial contact at the store was also very pleasant.

At the end of 2024, I walked into the store on Asselsestraat to inquire about maintenance for our 2010 boiler and advice on replacing the old one. I was supposed to receive a call about this in early 2025 to schedule an appointment. A note was made. In April 2025, I hadn't heard anything; so I called again. My question and the note for the appointment weren't known, but the scheduler would call me back within two weeks. In August 2025, I hadn't heard anything. I called again—no, the scheduler was on vacation but said he'd be back in a week and contact me. In September 2025, Van Tongeren excels at not returning calls. I emailed a fellow installation company with the same question—and received a response and advice within a week. Now, at the end of October, a new boiler was installed. I contacted that company—and received a response within a few days. That's how it can be done. Van Tongeren could learn a thing or two from this.
