As a first-time homebuyer, I wasn't sure whether I was going to take out a mortgage or accidentally launch a rocket. That's certainly how it felt. Fortunately, I had Marchel and Nadia by my side, and everything went smoothly. They guided me step by step through the entire process, explained everything in plain language, and provided honest and clear advice. No difficult terms, no stressful moments (okay, maybe one tiny one, but that was more my fault 😄). Communication was always clear, friendly, and fast. Everything was arranged on time, and I really felt like I was in good hands. I also noticed that the team works together exceptionally well, which made it even more enjoyable for me. Marchel's slogan: "I'll support you with advice and action! Together we'll find the best solution for your personal situation!" unfortunately didn't work for us. Our names were misspelled three times, and when it turned out that Marchel hadn't prepared properly and terms like "fraud," "I don't have a good feeling about this," and "I'm ending this conversation" were thrown around, the tone was set, and the conversation ended prematurely. All of this happened without any knowledge of the contents of the case file and without proper explanation when asking a follow-up question. I've never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally in a business meeting! I'm still upset and have no idea what caused him to lose his temper. After two phone calls from me, he received an apology email, without any substantive explanation and which didn't feel sincere. Unfortunately, that's of little use to me. It's a real shame, because the consequences are serious and detrimental for me, and I blame Marchel personally. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to leave a less-than-positive review. And I hope that future customers are treated decently by him, because this was a disgusting example of abuse of power. I sincerely hope I never have to encounter this man again.

We ended up at Hypotheek Huys to get our mortgage. The initial consultation with Marchal was relaxed and clear. Marchal is a great resource, thinking outside the box when needed. Nadia also provided excellent support throughout the process, going the extra mile when needed. Their approach is easy, making communication and consultation with them a pleasure. We've spoken with mortgage advisors before, but in our opinion, Hypotheek Huys is by far the best.

Marchel and his team were no strangers to me; they had helped my brother and I buy our first home. When I bought my second home, I knew for sure that I wanted to arrange it through Marchel and his team. This was despite the fact that my boyfriend and I were looking for a house in Deventer, far from the region where they normally work. Everything was discussed very clearly, and they carefully considered our situation and only considered solutions and possibilities. Despite the coronavirus crisis and the uncertainty of my job at the time (in the hospitality industry), everything worked out well. My boyfriend and I would also like to especially thank one of Marchel's employees: Nadia. She went above and beyond for us! Super friendly, we could always email her, received a timely response, and we felt like she took our situation personally and did everything she could to make it happen. A few months later, my boyfriend and I are living wonderfully in beautiful Deventer. Marchel, I'm grateful.
