The review was updated based on communication with the organization, explaining the process in more detail. Ultimately, I think Hofzicht is an organization that, with the best intentions in the world, wants to solve/address your problem, but is often dependent on a builder. Because some builders are uncooperative or unresponsive, it seems like there's no progress at all. Personally, I would have been better off simply being transparent about some issues where they're not making any progress with the builder. That would provide clarity and give me, as a client, a stronger sense that our contact person at the real estate agent genuinely wants to bridge the gap between the buyer and the builder. Currently, it often felt like a "computer says no." I also agree with the other comments made by As Laan in the other reviews. I hope this is helpful to you, and I wish you much success in the future.

We bought a new-build home brokered by this agency. We found this to be truly disappointing on several fronts. The communication was absolutely terrible. Below are some specific examples: The initial contact went well. During the subsequent signing appointment, things went downhill. The explanations were very rushed and superficial, with material that was new to all of us. Much remained unclear, and the agent was not very patient. We expected advice on the shell and finish. We had a general idea but preferred to be informed about the possibilities. During the consultation, no advice was given. "Whatever you want" was the motto, so the conversation ended after 15 minutes. After eight months, the first viewing day took place and we met the neighbors. What was there? Absolutely nothing! Just the heat pump pipes. The forecast was for Q1 2023, and we were already in the summer of 2022. At the time of writing, the completion date is still unknown. It was supposed to be before the summer holidays, but they're less than eight weeks away, so expect chaos because things suddenly move quickly, or even after the summer holidays. Then we'll be in Q3. Be honest as a company so they can at least plan. If it's after the summer holidays, fine, but at least then they can adapt. Right now, they can't/don't know anything at all! Mind you, forecasting and communicating shouldn't be this difficult for a small project of 25 houses. I would absolutely never buy a house here again.

A couple of scammers trying to extort agency fees for a rental property without any prior agreement. Besides the fact that double agency fees are illegal, they still had the audacity to send a bill for a few hundred euros. It's a very sad way to try to scam people. Don't fall for it. They occasionally create a new profile on Google My Business to make the negative reviews disappear. Don't be fooled by the positive fake reviews.
