I had a really strange phone conversation with them. I said I wanted to learn about the details and pricing of their buyer agent service. They invited me to their office, but I told them I’d prefer to get a brief overview over the phone since I’m quite busy and live far away. Then they said, “We only give prices in the office. Are you looking for the cheapest service? We’re not cheap in the market.” I asked in suprise if they had a transparent pricing policy or if their prices varied from person to person, and the response was quite odd — “No, I don’t have a transparent pricing policy; that’s how I work.” Hearing that was enough for me to understand what kind of business they run.

EXPATS BEWARE of this agency. They just work with landlords and in Thier interest. I rented a horrid house from them last year. They never helped get it fixed exeventually the landlord even stole our deposit. Henk and his team deserve to be reported to the authorities

I've rented a house through Henk Burger in Amsterdam for the past five years. A breath of fresh air in the current housing market is the best way to describe it. The staff always provided quick and helpful service, and absolutely no slumlords. Highly recommended to everyone!
