I made an offer on a house they were offering, both by phone and confirmed by email. I didn't hear anything for a week, but after a week, I saw on Funda that the house was "under offer." I called to see if I was, but the receptionist told me the house had already been sold. I thought this was a bit odd. You'd expect to at least get a rejection or something. The real estate agent was supposed to call me back that same day. Three days later, still nothing. In other words: after making an offer, you simply don't hear from this real estate agent anymore, and the house is sold without any notification.
