We bought a house through Helmig that was advertised as move-in ready. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case at all: we actually ended up in a renovation project. • The kitchen is connected entirely to a single circuit, meaning the induction hob doesn't work and this can't be resolved without major demolition work. • The shower enclosure turned out to be dangerous and defective. It's a widened enclosure with a glass door that was supposed to open inward and was already poorly fitted. During normal use, one of the glass doors suddenly popped out of its frame. Fortunately, this happened to an adult and not to our 5-year-old child. • Several electrical outlets don't work or were loose. • The laminate flooring, which was supposed to be newly installed, was installed too tightly and is now bulging. In addition, we discovered numerous minor defects, such as loose door handles, a cracked toilet seat, and even a power cord protruding from under the bathroom mirror. These aren't minor cosmetic issues, but serious defects that a real estate agent should identify and buyers should be warned about. Very disappointing and not what you would expect from a property sold as move-in ready.
