Three months ago, I came here for the first time. I got good advice, so I ordered two roller blinds for my father's apartment. They measured and professionally installed two weeks later. They look great!

Another very positive experience with Graven! From the initial consultation to the final execution, everything was perfectly arranged. The stairs are perfectly carpeted. I also received expert and friendly service regarding the paint job! Regards, Jacco

My experience with this company: My mother had placed two orders. Here's my shortened email after receiving their invoice. 1. Installing vinyl flooring in the kitchen 2. New sheers in the living room 1. Installing vinyl flooring in the kitchen It all started this way: On June 7, 2022, at around 6:00 PM, my 71-year-old mother received a call saying that someone would be installing the flooring the NEXT morning at 8:00 AM. In other words, my 71-year-old mother was asked to quickly remove the CURRENT vinyl flooring that same evening. Not exactly customer-friendly, let's say. Ultimately, they managed to do it with the help of a neighbor. The next morning, the Graven employee arrived. Oh, wait, it turned out to be a freelance former construction worker "who also installs flooring." The neighbor had removed the old vinyl flooring; the floor itself had already been leveled two years earlier when the previous floor was installed. There were only a few adhesive residues left on the floor due to the VERY SHORT preparation time my mother was given. The freelance builder, however, doesn't want to remove the adhesive residue and apparently decides that leveling is necessary, even though the original quote stated it wasn't necessary and my mother also indicated this. Even the neighbor, there he is, will testify that leveling WAS NOT. NECESSARY!! Luckily, we have photos of this. But a 71-year-old woman is a piece of cake, so Mr. Builder blithely decides to level it anyway. Billed by the hour, right? My mother didn't even notice; she can't be in the kitchen for hours. The builder lays the vinyl flooring, and then he's gone. The next morning: the floor is curling up at the edges and near the threshold. It turns out Mr. Builder hasn't glued anything down. The floor is simply loose. And therefore curls and bulges. Finally, someone came to glue it at certain points. But it's not quite right yet, especially not near the threshold, but so be it. It's done now. Despite protests, Graven is still sending us an invoice for the leveling. Oh wait, we're getting a 15% discount as a special gesture of goodwill. Shameless. 2. Net curtains in the living room My mother became a widow last June. One of the first positive things she wanted to do was order new net curtains. Net curtains are very important to my mother. She had been really looking forward to them after a long, difficult time. We thought we were in good hands with this company. My mother placed the order without seriously considering the price. She was willing to pay a premium. However, she was supposed to give me the ORIGINAL net curtains as a sample. "No problem, ma'am." This is six weeks later. Multiple calls from my mother's side, because it turns out that proactivity and keeping clients informed about progress aren't priorities at Graven. Six weeks without net curtains. For my mother, that's like walking around topless for six weeks. But luckily, Graven has the new net curtains. Despite having received the ORIGINAL net curtains, they don't fit at all. They themselves admit that. Then more waiting, and attempt two. Again, it doesn't fit. Once again: They had the original net curtains IN.THEIR.POSSION!! But then. The piece de resistance, category "never experienced before": they call my mother, bluntly, to say they're giving up. They just give up. Sorry customer, you figure it out. Big goodbye. Interior design company, upholstery company. Just beyond shame after all those tough words in their showroom. What kind of attitude is that? Astonishing. Downright astonishing.
