For years, I've had problems with the dormer window I purchased from G&M, which they then outsourced to Theo van Gestel. First, the dormer subsided. Then it started leaking. I was able to pay for the initial leak myself. Now, after years of battling, legal assistance, promises, and yet another leak, there's still no solution. Neither G&M nor Theo van Gestel respond to anything. Think carefully before buying from them. Legal assistance has been on their list for so many years, but they either don't respond or refuse to pay for work that was repaired by someone else. So you're left with a worthless and damaged dormer window that also leaks and has cost a lot of money. Update August 2024: After an independent inspection, more problems appear to exist, and even the dormer's protective layer is peeling. Update November 2024: The men have partially attempted to repair what they believe could be repaired under legal grounds. They then fail to respond to questions and demand that claims be dropped for which there has already been a failure and for which compensation is due. The connection to the concealed gutter also looks as if the water can flow in all directions instead of just over the tiles. The roof around it is wet. In this case, the roof felt is the downpipe. The roof felt is only folded in the hope that it won't get under the tiles, but it does. They refuse to fix this or even respond to it. April 2025: Offered another opportunity to answer questions about possible repairs to the dormer window. They don't answer the phone or respond. They are given another chance to repair new defects, otherwise, legal action will be taken. To make matters worse, the construction also turns out to be faulty, and they are now completely unresponsive. Don't buy here!! I feel ripped off and am left with a dormer window whose construction is faulty and has defects. They supposedly offer a 15-year warranty, but in practice, they don't deliver.

We bought our patio cover here six years ago. Alex was incredibly helpful, and the men installed it very neatly. We had a few minor issues, and after sending an email, they scheduled an appointment to come and inspect it. The problems were addressed immediately, and they thoroughly inspected everything. It's all covered by the warranty or service. That's what you want to hear as a customer.

I'm extremely satisfied! I made an appointment and was well-informed in the showroom; they were helpful and offered advice. I followed that advice and am very satisfied. They work carefully, and if anything isn't quite right, they return quickly to fix it. Everything was left neat and tidy. They also disposed of all the old materials for me. I would definitely recommend this company.

We received excellent and fast service from Alex and his team. They were willing to do everything you could ask for and more. They worked very carefully and were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was left neat and tidy, and the handover was clearly explained (what to look out for, how to maintain it, etc.). I recommend this company and these guys to everyone! Excellent service.
