Last year, we had three large window frames in our house replaced by this company, plus one double bedroom frame and window sill upstairs. FB was recommended by acquaintances and was 20% cheaper than another company. Everything seemed to be in order, so we accepted the quote. Once the frames arrived, we had some difficulty scheduling an appointment for installation. We clearly agreed that the walls were freshly plastered and that the old frames would be carefully removed. The two workers were also aware of this but still failed to cut through the plaster, resulting in large chunks of plaster breaking off. The frames were installed, and the walls were supposed to be insulated. (Especially since this was the reason for replacing the frames: cold and drafts.) The double glazing was divided by glazing bars. It turned out that one frame was divided widthwise and the rest lengthwise. The two installers hadn't even noticed this. When everything was finished, we asked again if everything had been insulated. Both men indicated that it would be fine. You guessed it, when I started feeling well the next day, there was a terrible draft! I called Frank, but he was completely baffled. The window was supposed to be replaced, and the fault lay with the glass supplier. Obviously, not him. When the glass arrived, the same installers were there, both accompanied by Frank himself. The glass was replaced, and I again mentioned the draft. Frank asked the installers on-site if the cavity had been filled with insulation. The installers confirmed this. Frank discovered that the frame was 4mm crooked. This was rigorously corrected without consultation, meaning the cover strips and sealant had to be reapplied. This also allowed me to redo the painting. This allowed me to immediately see what was underneath the decorative strips. It turned out I was just looking outside. No insulation, no foam insulation, no connection to the wall. I had Frank remove all the strips, and he sprayed everything with foam insulation and insulation. I forgot to mention that the sunshade motor broke during installation. After a few phone calls with Frank, he paid the bill under protest. The upstairs window frames and the windowsill were properly made and finished. The screens are also in good condition. What angers me most is the poor communication. The lying, but also no apology or compensation was offered. I sent Frank several emails, but he refused to respond. Even when my wife emailed two months ago that one window was "leaking" and had condensation on the glass, he didn't respond. This window frame was drafty, and the bars rattled when the neighbor opened and closed the door. It was that bad. I told Frank I was dissatisfied and that this was bad word of mouth, but he apparently didn't consider it important enough. If you have any doubts about FB as a client, please choose a slightly more expensive and better company. This is absolute rubbish.

We had our window frames installed by Frank Bisschops in both our previous home and our "new" one. Always a neat and professional job.

During our initial meeting, Frank was a pleasant person to work with. We ordered the window frames. It was supposed to take six weeks for them to arrive, but it took over twelve weeks, and I had to keep calling to ask about the situation. When the frames were finally installed, I told him I didn't need the shutters replaced because I had something else in mind. The shutters had been removed and were therefore no longer usable. There was glass in my daughter's bed, glass scattered in the back and front gardens, and the laminate flooring was damaged. He said none of this was the fault of Frank's staff. The bathroom window hadn't arrived yet, and I had to wait a few weeks for that, as well as the insect screens. Delivery was very delayed, and I had to call several times. The bathroom window was finally delivered and installed, but finishing it wasn't possible because the window wouldn't open otherwise. As Frank says, it's a shame, but unfortunately, what you want isn't possible. It's either one or the other. If you then wait to pay until he's willing to resolve the issue or discuss it with you, he'll threaten to hand it over to you. It's a shame I bought my window frames here... I'm already very worried that something will go wrong with them during the warranty period.
