Koen of Klimaat, in his kingdom of chill, Saw the message, frowned deeply, then sat very still. He disliked disruptions, disliked being told That a customer’s house was unpleasantly cold. So he let their first email sit, freeze, and expire— Because answering quickly? Not quite his desire. Weeks later he surfaced with technical tales: “Motherboards fail, and so do repairs.” A shrug, an excuse, a vague warranty plea— Like a riddle designed by someone allergic to responsibility. Then, without warning—on a bleak winter morn— A crew yanked the unit right off where it’d borne. They left wires exposed like a festive nightmare, Dangling boldly in winter’s wet air. No caps, no caution, no tidy connection— Just “good luck surviving this electrical confection.” That night came the “bang”—a breaker’s last gasp, A spark bright enough to make Santa unclasp His boots and run screaming into the snow. A true Christmas miracle that the house didn’t glow like a holiday candle from wires left bare— A detail Koen called “unlikely,” with corporate flair. And may Elite Klimaat find customer service— at last. Edit: also, super classy, breaking things, dragging mud through the house and then coming for me over YOUR OWN MUD and some cat hair. Cats you almost let escape after being asked, several times, to not leave the doors open. It'd be funny if not so unbelievably sad. I'd say do better but I know you can't. Edit Feb 2026: still heard nothing from Elite after countless emails and calls - I've essentially been ghosted by the company. And this after spending €8000 with them. I've since also found that the outside unit has been poorly connected to the electricity supply, meaning I get an electric shock when touching the unit. A highly dangerous situation that I now have to get resolved by asking another company to fix it. I would not try your luck with these cowboys! Edit Jan 2026: it's unfortunate that I have to make my review negative again but this seems to be the only way to get a response. I have had an urgent problem with condense water and have now been trying for more than a week, calling multiple times and sending emails, but I get no response. The only response I got was to say 'well we told you so'. That's not a solution! -- The product (in my case a heat pump) is great so far and Elite Klimaat did their best to accommodate the unique circumstances of our installation. The price was also competitive compared to others, although it ended up being somewhat higher than initially quoted. Communication could use some improvement - is sometimes difficult to get a response, and it would be appreciated if a time indication could be given for visits. That said, staff are generally friendly and professional.

I had the first appointment about 2 months ago, and got the offer a few days after the appointment, and 2 weeks after accepting it, I had the airco installed, pretty quick comparing to other companies that I was in contact with! So far I'm happy with the 2 Daikin Comfora units, it was a bit difficult to connect the Android app with them, but eventually I managed. They are not noisy at all luckily, sometimes I barely hear them.

Was really excited to work with Elite Koeltechniek as they seemed great in first meetings. However, they ended up taking forever to get back to us on multiple occasions, not replying, not picking up the phone. Really disappointed this didn't work out. Unfortunately would not recommend.
