So happy with our new garden! Our garden has completely transformed in just one week. I contacted Rick, and two days later he came by to inspect and discuss everything. He started right away the following week, and the work was completed within two days. We're absolutely thrilled! Rick gives honest advice, is a great resource, and is very flexible. It was a pleasure working with Eijkhout Hoveniers. Highly recommended!

We happened to come across Rick because he had a sign for his company on a family's street. We simply called, and within a week he came by and we had something beautiful written down! Now, less than two months later, he and his colleagues have delivered a fantastic garden. Very personal, and everything was exactly as we wanted! He's a great resource and gives honest advice. Aside from choosing the tiles, we didn't have to worry about any materials. They had everything arranged and neatly brought it all with them. Within two days, we have a complete garden that we don't have to worry about anymore (except for the plants in the containers, of course). Thanks, Rick and the rest of the team! 💪

Despite this, we approached Rick to have a proposal drawn up for our shared driveway. It was a greening project where the necessary paving work had to be done. Initially, I had a very positive impression of Rick. He came across as friendly and enthusiastic. Unfortunately, we never heard from Rick again after that. I called and emailed several times where Rick indicated that the proposal would be coming soon, unfortunately without result. I believe, given the previous comments, that he is quite good at his job. As far as communication is concerned, not recommended.

Due to health issues, we were no longer able to carry out the major maintenance work in our garden ourselves. We wanted to have this done before our big holiday in June. This involved pruning the laurel bushes, removing weeds from between the paving stones, and tackling the overgrowth in the garden, among other things. After contacting several companies, we found Rick van Eijkhout Hoveniers from Groesbeek. Rick arrived fairly quickly after a phone appointment to assess the situation. He made a friendly and positive impression, and we agreed on a price, promising that the work would be done before our holiday. Scheduling-wise, this wouldn't be a problem. If necessary, he would arrange it with two people in half a day. We were relieved that this could be arranged before our holiday. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case. After this conversation, we only contacted him once by phone about the schedule (he said he would call back but didn't have a calendar with him), but after that, there was no further communication. Despite repeated attempts to reach him, both by phone and voicemail, we received no response (we tried daily). This was extremely disappointing. All calls were ignored. I would have understood if he still couldn't or wouldn't do the job for whatever reason, but I find the complete lack of communication extremely inappropriate and disrespectful. At least we would have had the chance to find someone else to do the work during our vacation. Unfortunately, this experience has resulted in a very low rating, and I therefore cannot recommend him. Before posting this review, I finally contacted Rick. He gave various reasons why he no longer had time to schedule the work for our vacation. However, I still find it unacceptable that he didn't speak to us about this until we indicated we were posting a review.
