Disappointing experience with an appraisal by Edwin van Vilsteren My experience with Edwin van Vilsteren was downright disappointing. The appraisal report showed that the living area of ​​my home wasn't measured by him himself, but was taken from a recently appraised property—not even ours! I find this very careless and not what you'd expect from a professional appraiser. When I asked about this, I was told that the measurements "were correctly determined" and "taken from a recently appraised property." This doesn't demonstrate transparency or a critical, independent assessment. With an appraisal, you expect careful measurements and verification—not blindly accepting figures. In short: little care, no transparency, and a defensive attitude when questions are asked. Not a reliable experience for me. I wouldn't recommend Edwin van Vilsteren for an appraisal. It's funny that you responded with yet another lie; we never spoke on the phone! A recently appraised home is still not our home.
