Stayed a night at the jungle suite. It's spacious and fun. Definitely a wellness suite with sauna , two person jacuzzi and two headed shower. Dinner was great. And little extra tiny things make it really good. I'll give an example. We were early so not sure if we could enter the room already. Receptionist called house hold and they told her they were just finished... so how kind to find a handwritten card welcoming us and wishing us a pleasant stay.. that I like a lot.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and arrogant, looking down on guests. I honestly wonder how many nights she could afford in the room I am staying in with the salary she makes, yet she acts with such superiority. If this receptionist is still working here, you will definitely lose a wonderful holiday.

Very nice hotel with different style. Country house type, long way to reach your room. The room is very nice, spacious and comfortable. Only one thing bothered me that was the glass with such a bad condition. The rest of the stay were great.. the hotel staff was helpfull to book me a taxi to the train station.

It's our umpteenth time staying here. This time, we had a brand-new room on the ground floor. The new room looks much better than the old one. The bathroom door is no longer opposite the bed but immediately to your left upon entering. The wall color is a deep purple. The room is still wonderfully spacious. The beds are comfortable, and the bedding feels soft. The bathroom also has plenty of space. It's nice that the shower is separate from the bathtub. There are toiletries provided, so you don't have to bring your own. We reserved a room with breakfast included. The breakfast at Van der Valk is extensive, with delicious rolls, freshly cooked eggs, juices, and more. We enjoyed our breakfast in peace. If you're with a group, you might need some luck to sit together at one table, as the table arrangement is based on two people. The only disappointment was the check-in. We were helped by a blonde woman who had a very high opinion of herself and was quite cold, totally unsuited to working with customers. This is not what we're used to from Van der Valk. The next morning, my uncle forgot his phone, and we were assisted by a young lady (half Moluccan) who was correct, service-oriented, and extremely friendly, just as you would expect from Van der Valk staff.
