In May 2023, we had a dormer installed by D&J, and we're not happy with the quality. They were very generous with their work beforehand, but after that, things went downhill rapidly. 1) One of our tilt-and-turn windows won't stay fully open. 2) The roof covering isn't taut, but wavy. 3) During an attempt to fix the problems with the tilt-and-turn window, damage occurred to the plastic frame. They deny having done this. 4) The interior construction of the dormer is poor. The wooden panels around the windows are higher than the window frames. Furthermore, you can't plaster over these panels. 5) A lot of cold air is coming in through the dormer. They did try to seal the dormer with polyurethane foam, but that wasn't done properly. We've temporarily sealed it with tape. 6) The dormer ceiling is higher than the ceiling of the living room. Therefore, the dormer is placed too high on the house. When we asked if this could have been done differently, we were told: "Yes, but then we would have had to cut through the roof tiles." In other words, a decision made out of sheer laziness and without consultation. Furthermore, it was incredibly difficult to get them back on the floor after the dormer window was installed to fix the problems. In short, if I could do this again, I would definitely choose a different company!

Never do business with them. A shady company that primarily focuses on demolition work. They installed a dormer window with a significant leak, and the work was shoddy. The owner lacked communication and was a bit of a skeptic. They had it repaired by a professional company, but the costs were prohibitive.

Happy with my choice of D&J Dakkapellen. The guys were proactive, worked neatly, and kept all their promises. This company is easy to reach; they always answered my call. The company is definitely recommended.
