Mark took me from being terrified of driving to passing on my first try! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He is very patient and calm. Motorcycle license in the pocket – thanks to Van de Weerd Driving School! What an adventure! Thanks to Van de Weerd Driving School in Apeldoorn – and especially the fantastic instructors Alex and Thomas – I passed my motorcycle test with a broad smile (and a helmet that finally fits properly). From the very first lesson, I felt welcome: an enthusiastic atmosphere, clear explanations, and always room for a joke. Although I had to get a little creative in the reception area… there wasn't a mirror. For someone my size, closing a motorcycle helmet without a mirror felt like a yoga exercise in a motorcycle suit. After some charming nagging on my part, Thomas finally got me a mirror. Hero. Now I can ride not only safely, but also stylishly. Alex is the one who gives you that final push towards exam success. And thanks to his "BRAVO" test at the beginning of the exam – which he drilled into me with passion and repetition – I was able to answer the examiner's questions with flying colors. His calmness, sharp eye, and endless patience ensure that even nerves don't stand a chance. Thomas, on the other hand… loves a sporty driving style. So sporty, in fact, that during my first exam, I merged a little too enthusiastically. The car behind me had to brake – well, hitting the gas is fun, but the examiner found it less charming. My own fault, of course. But Thomas is also the man who asks on a sunny day: "Where do you want to go?" And the answer is simple: towards Hoenderloo, for a delicious ice cream at IJS van Co. Deluxe motorcycle driving lessons – including a tour and dessert. And now that I have my motorcycle license, I proudly ride my Indian. This time, above all, safely, sensibly, with fun, and without the traffic behind me having to brake. In short: if you're looking for a driving school that seriously prepares you for the exam, but where there's also room for laughter and enjoyment (with or without ice cream), then Van de Weerd is the place to be. You'll not only get a driver's license, but also self-confidence, valuable tips, and memories you'll laugh about for years to come. Here's to many safe miles!
