PLEASE NOTE!!!!!! Many people, like me, think or thought that Eigenhuis Schilderplan was part of the Vereniging Eigen Huis (Homeowners' Association), but they have nothing to do with it and don't want anything to do with it. Eigenhuis Schilderplan is an initiative of De Nooy Master Painters. 25 years ago, we started Eigenhuis Schilderplan. I would never do it again. It's simply very expensive in the long run, and the painters we've had didn't deliver nearly the quality I see from my neighbors who hired their own painters. They also always finish much faster. A lot of the work was done by very young trainees. A quick wipe with a damp cloth and rough sandpaper and a topcoat. I thought they'd figure it out, but now that the woodwork is rotting, I hear nothing from Eigenhuis Schilderplan about how it's going to be fixed. The worst part is that the door has started to rot because the painters at De Nooy never bothered to paint the top in all those years, causing moisture to seep in and leak down. They asked us to put everything in writing, which we did, but we never heard from them again. They simply don't care if they've done a bad job.

We had the painters from De Nooy paint our entire interior. They spent 10 days working on our house. The result is beautiful. Very neat work and good painters. They were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time together. You have "strangers" over for two weeks while you're also working from home, so it's nice to have a good connection. In short, I highly recommend this painting company!
