We were assisted by advisor Auke, who normally works in Zeist but was temporarily based in Veenendaal. Initially, everything seemed to be going well, but ultimately, we received a direct debit from the bank, even though we had agreed that everything would be financed through the bank and that we wouldn't have double monthly payments (for our current home and new construction). Unfortunately, it turns out that the advice wasn't properly implemented, resulting in double payments. When we tried to contact Auke, he turned out to be working in Zeist again and referred us to Veenendaal. The colleague there said there was nothing he could do, except suggest that we "claim the interest back monthly to ease the pain." We paid €4,735 for advice that wasn't followed through, and we feel completely unhelpful. No solution, no compensation—very disappointing for such a large sum and a company you should be able to trust. Not even worth a star.
