Last year, I requested quotes from several contractors for a new roof, including a ridge height increase and a dormer window. I immediately had a good feeling about De Goede Bouw. They took their time and provided a very comprehensive quote/estimate, all for a very reasonable price. It was about half the price of a different contractor. And of course, sometimes you have to be patient, and it took a few weeks longer than planned. But for me, that wasn't a problem, and I wasn't in a hurry. The fact that it's a very reliable company, with pleasant, skilled, neat, and friendly workers, who think in terms of solutions and possibilities is invaluable to me. I was also able to regularly consult with the work planner/contractor. They even ended up fixing a leak (through no fault of their own), which was also very helpful. And I'm thrilled with the result: a fully functional, well-finished, and insulated room with plenty of natural light and a staircase. I highly recommend De Goede Bouw!

This year (starting January 7, 2019), we renovated the living room of our 1930s house and extended it across the entire width. This included replacing wooden beams and floors with concrete, installing underfloor heating, a new ceiling, a skylight, plasterwork, and a beautiful full-width bi-folding door. Thanks to the clear, comprehensive quote and a good price, we chose De Goede Bouw and have no regrets. It was a big job, but everything went very smoothly. The foreman and employees at De Goede Bouw are very knowledgeable, hardworking, and experienced, and they're always happy to contribute ideas. Throughout the process, they provided excellent advice, ensuring a beautiful end result. It cost a lot of coffee, cakes, and sausage rolls, but it was definitely worth it. In a few days, our furniture will be put back in, and then we can truly start enjoying our new, old house. We would definitely recommend De Goede Bouw!

At the end of 2016, we purchased a semi-detached house. We wanted an extension built on both the ground and upper floors, and the house, which was still in its 1980s style, needed modernization. For cost reasons and because we wanted to have full control over all decisions regarding materials and layout, we opted for a structural draftsman rather than an architect to produce the necessary building plans and permits. After requesting several quotes, we chose De Goede Bouw for their comprehensive and detailed quote. Demolition of the garage and shed began in April 2017 to create space for the extension and modernization of the house. By continuously monitoring the construction process, we were able to make adjustments to the building design in consultation with DGB staff and tailor the overall renovation to our needs. We've now been living in our beautiful home for a year, completely satisfied, thanks to DGB.

I was 3 minutes late downstairs when Mr. de Goede stood at the door for the 2:00 PM appointment. The reason was a 3-year-old daughter who needed care. No effort was made to contact me by phone when Mr. de Goede stood waiting outside the door for 2 minutes. The phone was also not answered at 2:05 PM, even though I saw him driving away in his beautiful Volvo. Fortunately, I have learned from this and will leave my daughter standing alone on the changing table from now on, hoping she climbs off herself. Let's just say that business is probably going TOO well for Mr. de Goede.... I am very curious to see how business goes when times slow down a bit again and you have to work (more) hard for new assignments. Good luck.
