So far, I've been very satisfied, but the forgotten screws, which prevent the lock from working properly unless the window is pushed up, are still unresolved. The aftercare in this case is truly subpar, even though I've had good experiences in the past. It's been going on since February 2025. They've been there without the screws, made some adjustments, but the problem keeps recurring, and despite reporting it regularly, I still feel like I'm being stringed along.

In November, the gentlemen did a great job replacing our old dormer window. They were able to customize the work, and the installation was quick and easy. On the day itself, everything went quite quickly. Within five hours, they took down the old one and installed a new one, including coffee and a Zeeuwse bolus (a traditional Dutch pastry). We're happy with the speed and appearance of our dormer window. Communication with the team could definitely be better. They didn't say goodbye when leaving, left the front door open while driving away, and didn't communicate clearly about the missing glass (they apparently forgot to include it). Fortunately, we had a pleasant phone conversation, and it turns out there was an error in the glass delivery. Hopefully, it will be installed a week after the dormer window is installed. In short: there's room for improvement, but we're happy with how the dormer window looks so far. Update 11-09: Eight days after the dormer window was installed, the glass was finally installed. The friendly installer completed the job in fifteen minutes and clearly indicated that it was finished. It's great that it was resolved so quickly and efficiently.

This week, we had a dormer installed by Dormer Specialist v.d. Gevel. We are very satisfied with the result. From the initial consultation for a quote to the finalization, everything was handled with clear communication in a calm and friendly manner. The employees are a very well-coordinated team and work at top speed. The end result is a magnificent dormer. We initially chose Van de Gevel because they offered the best deal for our dormer window. Additional matters after the contract was finalized were no problem and were handled perfectly, in our case, a ventilation duct in the roof. The installation was a feast for the eyes; we've rarely seen such a well-coordinated team of installers! The dormer window was installed in five hours. We are therefore very satisfied with the work carried out.
