Finally, after two years (and apparently even longer with the previous owner, given the damp patches), no more damp walls inside and no more flooding under the covered patio. It turned out to be true, as we'd constantly been told. The window sills were installed incorrectly. Some were level, and a few drained directly towards the house, into the cavity wall. It's a shame it took so long and there were some discussions about the source of the problems. It couldn't have been the incorrectly installed window sills from the start. It was the roof, the neighbor, and we heard several other causes. We had the roof inspected based on their advice and addressed several "suspected" causes. I also had the gutters emptied. Unfortunately, all of this was to no avail. There's a strict dividing line between us and the neighbor; that couldn't have been the source (we had a structural engineer inspect it). It would have saved us a lot of trouble, money, and water damage if they had taken action immediately. Or better yet, if it had been installed correctly from the start. First, the window sills needed sealing, which should have helped. However, during heavy rainstorms, water simply poured into the kitchen like a waterfall. I had to pay for the other causes myself, even though they weren't the cause. The damp patches and other issues caused by the flooding still need to be addressed. Damp laminate flooring, damp interior walls (so, new wallpaper was needed), a damp crawl space (extra film was installed in the crawl space). And then it remains to be seen whether the front window sills are properly installed. Fortunately, it's not (that) noticeable here yet. But the finish of the uPVC windows also leaves much to be desired. They don't fit neatly at the top, bottom, left, and right edges, causing some drafts to circulate through the house. There are sometimes quite a few gaping holes visible under the inside window sills. When you complain, they first argue that it wasn't their fault (which unfortunately turned out to be different, after all) and why the previous owner didn't report it (because he hadn't lived in it for three years, but sublet it and eventually wanted to sell it, perhaps). And when everything is settled and you send an email saying it finally seems the problems have been resolved, they send an email with an "apology for the inconvenience." Nothing more, nothing less. All in all, extremely sad and unprofessional.

Several windows and a front door have been installed after last week's snowfall prevented them from happening. It's great that this could still be accommodated within the schedule. Very satisfied with the materials and also with the professional installation and finishing.

Really dissatisfied with how things went. They act completely surprised when you ask questions and shift their problems onto you: "You should understand their staff shortages, for example." However, I personally have to take six days off work just to be there to see them. They scheduled two days to install something, but due to "poor delivery from their supplier," we had to wait 11 weeks, which meant six appointments.

We recently had a sliding door installed and are very satisfied with the service! We have now confidently requested a new quote for the next phase of the renovation.

Cremers window frames have been in my house for 20 years, and they still look great. Only the powder coating on the front door is a bit worn out, as I ended up in a wheelchair after a few years, but the construction of that door and the interior still look fantastic!
