It looks good, so your expectations are high. Unfortunately, that's where things go wrong. I was greeted unfriendly, the coffee wasn't hot. And their manners, well, what can I say? Better not. The exterior is nice, but in reality, it's what's delivered that counts, and I don't expect much there. So I chose someone else.

I live in a large apartment complex in Boxtel. This year, the painting work was awarded to Coppens Schilderwerken. Today, the work on my apartment was finally completed. Four weeks ago, the work on my apartment began. Despite the beautiful weather, it was completely unclear when the work would be completed. Appointments were almost never honored. Coming home from vacation specifically for the agreed-upon painting work proved unnecessary. Getting up at 7 a.m. because it was warm also proved unnecessary. Staying home for an appointment turned out to be simply foolish. Every now and then, a window or door was painted unexpectedly. Sometimes, according to the painters, an appointment couldn't be kept because "the wood was too hot," because after four days, paint-on flies couldn't be removed and painted over, and because "the paint hadn't hardened enough yet." These days, according to the painters, sanding is sufficient simply by lightly sanding the old paintwork with sandpaper. This resulted in a tremendously rapid replacement of old paintwork with new, though. It was striking that the painters were rarely seen with a brush in their hands. Lunches and planning meetings took up a considerable amount of time, making it impossible to work continuously for several hours. Whenever I had a comment, there was always a response, which meant I didn't get what I expected: correctly executed painting work as agreed. This review led to a constructive discussion with Coppens. They acknowledged the situation and promised to do better.

Absolutely no business with them: it's been under construction for 11 weeks now, and Coppens still has no idea when it'll be finished. They put up a picture this morning, forgot the screws, never saw them again, a worthless company!
