Mid January we had the first encounter to purchase a Daiking Altherma hybrid heat pump. It was installed in less than one and a half month and done so very neatly.

After one year and nine months, our installation of a hybrid heat pump and three air conditioners was completed. According to CoolConnect's promise, this should have been completed in a few days. During this period, CoolConnect consistently failed to honor agreements and commitments, and the quality of the work delivered proved to be substandard. Examples include: the use of unskilled technicians, resulting in technically incorrect installations and long lead times, damage to the house due to unprofessional work, and the failure to honor agreements regarding return calls, repairs, and financial compensation for damages incurred. Ultimately, Daikin Netherlands intervened and hired another company at their expense to properly complete the heat pump and air conditioner installations.

We cycled past CoolConnect by chance and went inside to get some information. We were so pleased with the experience that, a while later, we invited Tim to take a look at our situation and advise us. After 2 months, our ceiling unit in the bedroom, the floor unit in the living room, and the multi-split outdoor unit were installed in 2 days in a highly professional manner and exactly according to the agreements made by Kane and Amaro (1st day) and Kane and Delano (2nd day). These polite guys work so accurately and neatly! Hats off to them!

I had several air conditioners installed by Coolconnect (spending 10,000). In retrospect, I had a bad experience. We discussed where the indoor units should be placed, making clear agreements. Then the installer drilled the holes incorrectly. They also used the outdoor unit as a platform. Bizarre, as you can see in the photo, this didn't do the unit any good. Worse still, the exterior gutters were installed at an angle. Besides being unsightly, it later caused problems between the gutters. I reported this, and they came out to fix it. The solution was to wrap a piece of tape around them. That only lasted temporarily and wasn't a solution. I reported it again, and they came out, again with another piece of tape, followed by an invoice. When I complained, Coolconnect's response was simply: "Tough luck, the warranty period is over, so you have to figure it out and pay." They should have properly repaired this during the initial report, not just put a piece of tape on it. Poor service and certainly not professionally installed. They also don't care about the customer's property. Avoid this company. Update following Coolconnect's response: From the response, I notice again that my complaint isn't being taken seriously. Everything is being downplayed and dismissed as my own fault. "Unfortunately, something shifted." No, it wasn't installed correctly. A tie wrap was needed to close it during installation. Just two months later, everything started to shift and become loose. See the photos; they clearly show everything. CC should have decided then that something had gone wrong during installation and repaired it properly (under warranty, not as the 'service' you're talking about). Whether or not you signed a service contract for the 'technical installation' is completely irrelevant. Or are you saying that's the only way to get a warranty? Finally, regarding the comment about paying the invoice. I had already paid it four days before your response and five days before the due date. So either your accounting is outdated, or it was a dig at me...
