Unfortunately, hiring Breda Bouw for our renovation proved to be an exercise in patience, disappointment, and bewilderment. What was contractually agreed upon as a 60-day project turned into a drag lasting over a year. This excessive delay was not due to unforeseen circumstances or complexity, but to a disturbing pattern of disorganization, negligence, and disinterest. The quality of the work performed remained consistently substandard. A facade was installed lower than specified—an error so visible and illogical that it remains both architecturally and practically incomprehensible. The heating system was installed at the wrong height, compromising both the aesthetics and functionality of the space. These were not isolated incidents, but symptomatic of a broader lack of attention to consultation, detail, and design. Equally concerning was the way the work was carried out. The workers left behind a trail of stains, dust, and mess, as if the building was slated for demolition rather than renovation. Appointments were systematically missed, deadlines ignored, and communication was highly irregular: the phone simply wasn't answered. In short, our experience with Breda Bouw was characterized by delays, mess, and disappointment. While every project has its challenges, the extent of the negligence in this case is disappointing. I therefore strongly advise potential clients to exercise extreme caution and choose a company that is not only technically competent but also respects the time, space, and trust of its clients.
