Introductie
Het 125-jarig bestaan van Bouwbedrijf Eldering BV in Groningen (Hoogkerk), sinds 1978 Eldering De Vries, wordt op 13 oktober gevierd. Op die datum zou Klaas Eldering, grootvader van de huidige directeur en mede-eigenaar Rias Eldering (49), honderd jaar zijn geworden. Het bedrijfsjubileum is voor Rias Eldering aanleiding om na dit jubileum jaar de vanouds bekende naam Bouwbedrijf Eldering BV te herintroduceren met
de daarbij horende oude logo die in een modern jasje is gestoken. Op de begeleidende foto’s ziet u directeur en mede-eigenaar Rias Eldering naast voorman-timmerman Kees Slagter uit Nieuw-Roden, al veertig jaar in dienst van het bouwbedrijf.

New-build house delivered to great satisfaction. Everything is as agreed and looks neat. I accompanied the handover inspection by Vereniging Eigen Huis, and he was also very satisfied. He indicated that he does not see many other construction companies deliver a house in this good condition. The structural engineer noted a few minor points that need improvement. Eldering agreed immediately, which, according to the handover expert, is not always the case. All in all, a big thumbs up for Eldering.

Very satisfied! The technician arrived promptly and immediately fixed our problem. The explanation was clear, including photos, and the invoice was very reasonable. If we have any more problems (hopefully not), we'll call this company first.

I've been dealing with noise pollution from this company for years. And when you try to find out why they're disturbing the peace, you get no answer, and you just have to deal with it. Get out of my life, man.

I engaged Eldering to carry out a roof repair. Due to rain, I had indicated that it was important to act quickly because of the risk of leaks and water ingress. After an initially positive contact on July 18, I assumed that action would be taken quickly and adequately. Unfortunately, a week after the order was placed, there was no feedback whatsoever regarding the schedule and execution. When I contacted them a week after the order, I received the message: "I don't know the status, but we are on construction holiday now; we will be back on August 19." I was forced to hire another contractor to prevent leak damage. I provided feedback stating that I unfortunately received no further updates and was forced to have the work taken over by someone else. Subsequently, after the construction holiday, the work was resumed without any communication whatsoever, without a phone call or response to my message. I do not blame the construction workers; they do a fine job, but the management and communication with this organization is disastrous. A pity.
