We had a good experience with Ben. He completely renovated our bathroom for us (including moving a wall), laid the entire floor on the first floor, plastered, and installed new doors. Our experience was that Ben was very proactive, patient, and made well-considered choices regarding the renovation. Additionally, we could turn to Ben for other job-related questions in between tasks – which he also answered patiently and thoughtfully.

Review edited. Original review is below. After about a month, the repair proved insufficient. The washing machine's wastewater was being pumped back into the tub, which wasn't desirable. We contacted Ben again. Ben responded promptly and visited us. He explained that the repair wasn't sufficient and that it needed to be fixed. This would require rerouting the washing machine's drain hose. Due to the damage from the leak, a tile also needed to be replaced and resealed, and we wanted an aerated concrete wall bricked and plastered. Ben agreed to take on this job and agreed on a price. Part of this price was that we would supply some materials ourselves. We indicated that we didn't need the job urgently. Because Ben was busy, it could wait until things calmed down. Several months then passed before Ben was able to start (his personal circumstances played a role in this, which we understood at the time). After repeated attempts to contact him, an appointment was made to carry out the repairs. A day before the repair was scheduled, Ben called to say that the agreed-upon price was too low. However, he had prepared the quote himself with us. We pointed this out to him and told him we expected him to carry out the work. On the day he was supposed to arrive, he didn't show up. We bought all the necessary materials, set everything up, and took time off work specifically for this. Without giving an explanation, Ben didn't show up. He hasn't responded since. We are very disappointed in Ben. We have shown a great deal of patience and understanding regarding his personal circumstances. We also had to take the initiative to contact him each time. We honored the agreement by getting all the materials, but Ben didn't show up without any explanation. The only thing he said was that he disagreed with the price. He stated that the work he had was more than the price would cover. All in all, it took almost a year, and he didn't fix it. The work (partly repairing his mistake) was completed by another professional within a week. ================================================================ We contacted Ben due to a leak in the bathroom. Although his schedule was full, he managed to schedule an appointment on very short notice. The work was carried out in consultation with him. The end result looks great; you can tell it was a professional! Ben did a very good job within the timeframe and the price he initially stated. Absolutely recommended!

This construction company is very small but does a fantastic job. They rebuilt our entire ground floor, including an extension, and we're incredibly happy with it.
