Terrible company, stay away!! Phoned them up regarding a small plumbing job in my house. They couldn't do anything and are now charging me EUR 50. No prior indication was made on how much it would cost (and therefore we are not in an agreement). Now their position is that I called them hence I should pay. I refuse. PS Another plumber fixed the issue in 5 minutes (replacing a leaking seal) for half the money.

Bos BV unclogged our sink in March 2025. The plumber worked quickly and resolved the problem promptly. Good and fast service, but incomplete information about the upfront financial statement: 1. You don't pay any call-out fees, but the amount of time spent traveling is included in the total number of hours worked. This can be an advantage or disadvantage. The amount of travel time isn't clear in advance (e.g., when working with other clients in the area, or due to traffic delays). He later stated that he split the return travel time between us and another client, which was very kind (obviously, we couldn't verify this). Because travel time is included in the hourly rate and not fixed costs, in urban areas, for non-urgent jobs, it's worth considering scheduling appointments outside peak hours. 2. You pay per unit of time for the plumber and for specialized equipment, separately. The owner informed us afterward by phone that personnel costs are rounded up to 15 minutes instead of the nearest hour, and equipment costs are rounded up to whole hours. Total costs for us based on ~1 hour of work (20-25 minutes on location, the rest travel time) were 130.68 incl. VAT (60 labor, 45 for flexshaft, 3 tools, the rest is VAT).
