I contacted Ms. Chardine Bernabela when I had just opened my ZZP activity (in January 2024) and I was looking for a bookkeeper who could speak English. While the reviews of her company on Google were high and she as a person was cordial enough, after one year (in the beginning of 2025) her feedback regarding my activity became sporadic, and after a few months (around April 2025) she just stopped responding. No mail, no WhatsApp, no call, no anything. All the while she would still ask for the monthly fee, though, all the way through July 2025. Since from her all I got was silence and I needed to compile my tax report, I went to another bookkeeper who checked her activity for my company, and discovered that in two years she did not do anything properly, and instead her work was full of errors and she did not even compile the tax reports – all this without communicating with me and answering my messages and calls. So, in effect, by NOT doing the work she was paid to do but still asking for her monthly fee, she basically stole two years of money from me. I do not know whether there were personal problems on her end that impeded her to do her work properly, but by evading any communication with her clients and still asking for payment she has acted in a very shady and dishonest way. If I had known from the beginning I would not have contacted her in the first place, so think twice before entrusting your activity to her

I haven't been able to reach Chardine for at least two months, and the work I paid for hasn't been delivered. I've requested a refund and have been completely ignored in the app and email.

Good morning, I've been trying to contact Chardine for several days now, by phone, app, and email. To date, I haven't received any response regarding my VAT return, which I should have paid yesterday! I also haven't received any response regarding my 2024 income tax. The deadline has already passed for this as well. I expect a substantive response to the outstanding issues very soon, today. Kimberley Baas Management
