My experience with Boek & Offermans (Venlo) was unfortunately extremely disappointing. From the outset, I expressed my serious interest in both the downstairs and upstairs apartments, after the real estate agent suggested they could potentially be purchased together. I then submitted an offer on the downstairs apartment and waited for a viewing of the upstairs apartment. Despite my pending offer and clear commitment, my colleague Tom Heijligers called me twice shortly before the appointment, informing me that the appointment had to be rescheduled because real estate agent Yuri Camps had "more important commitments." This not only seemed unprofessional but also left me with the strong feeling that I wasn't being taken seriously and was being deliberately sidelined. Just before the new appointment, I was told that the property had been sold, without any transparent feedback throughout the process. Communication was minimal and anything but clear. I also sent an email requesting an explanation as to how this could happen, as well as a separate complaint. I never received a response to either email. This confirms to me that customer focus and professionalism are unfortunately lacking here. All in all, I find the approach unprofessional, opaque, and completely inconsistent with a fair sales process. I didn't feel taken seriously from start to finish.
