I had an average experience with Benelux with a few reservations. Order process was smooth, sales person took good care for the measurements. However, it was not easy to get in contact with him during the installation and afterwards. (I had a few problems which I will explain later in this review) I have two dakkapels installed by them. Unfortunately, frames for both of them were not installed in the correct orientation according to order / drawings. They had to make changes on the spot. To our let down, we realized that dakkapels were delivered in different color than we wished for. While we opted for RAL9010, it was put as RAL9016 in the order which we missed to check / spot on. Also the insect screens offered in the discussions weren't made into to the offer and finally the delivered product. We have trusted in Benelux to deliver the right thing, but we have also missed to check what's in the final offer carefully. Like most dakkapel installers, they do not do the finishing. Connection of the dakkapel to the walls and ceiling was not in the favor of easy finishing with gipsplaat and plastering. I would recommend that during the measurement, you also take the finishing into account. Lastly, after the installation, I found a small damage on one of the dakkapels, which I got in contact with Nick from after sales / service team that I got quick help and attention. That's a plus point. Overall, II would be careful of the order, delivery phase and finishing (afwerken) details. I will edit this review in the future if needed depending on the performance of the dakkapel and installation. Edit on 26-09-2025: After heavy rain, one of my dakappels was leaking from outside. They came to fix it 12 days later (understandable that there was not much rain between and they guaranteed that it's not urgent as the leak was outside). I am told that there was a gap between the EPDM and corner frame which they filled with watertight kit.

Horrible experience. Called us one day in advance of the installation to say they have quality issues and it will be delayed by 2 weeks. All remainder of our work got delayed in our new house due to this. Very disappointed. Will not recommend them to anyone. Not reliable and not trustworthy at all. I will edit this post the installation because reading other reviews now I am very worried about finishing and leakage later. Fingers crossed but I have already lost trust so I hope post installation or during does not add more to our disappointment.

Bait-and-Switch Tactics – Be Careful! We agreed to their first quote after they came and took measurements. It seemed fair, so we trusted them and cancelled the offers we had from other companies. Then a second person came, said the original measurements were wrong, and told us the new offer would be higher. We immediately contacted the first guy who gave us the original quote, and he told us not to worry — that he’d look into it. After that, he stopped answering our calls. We followed up several times with no response, and when he finally got back to us, all he said was, “Sorry, I can’t do anything. If you want the job done, you’ll have to accept the new price.” At that point, we felt completely cheated. They left us stuck after we’d already cancelled other offers and trusted their word. Very unprofessional, misleading, and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.!!!

We relocated to the Netherlands recently and were in the process of buying a house. We were looking to improve it and contacted Benelux Dakkapellen among multiple other companies. Not only Benelux Dakkapellen was the fastest to answer but also the more customer oriented company. Can followed our project from start to finish and we are very happy with our new home improvement ! What we loved : - Project manager (Can) here for us from start to finish with honest advice (on dakkapel configuration) - Website configurator on spot - Speediness of the installation team Cons : - Long waiting list (but in our case fit well perfectly as we were waiting also for the house)... that is what to expect from good company !
