Replacing and modernizing a kitchen right away, while keeping it affordable. For us, there was only one solution: Bakker Postma! After visiting the showroom, where many modern kitchens were on display, we received prompt assistance and a quick decision. Everything we were looking for. That same week, they even came to measure and gave us some useful tips to improve the user-friendliness. Fantastic! The deal was done. And then there was the delivery time. Well, it wasn't too bad; four months later, everything was perfectly installed (thanks, Tim), and everything was complete. Super happy with the kitchen and the appliances. THANK YOU, Team Bakker Postma!

In December 2020, we confidently entered the Bakker Postma showroom to choose a bathroom. We felt like we were entering a reputable company, and we placed an order worth €8,900.00 (a huge sum for us!). Delivery was scheduled for April 2021. The result is fantastic, and we are very happy with our new bathroom. Why a 1-star rating, you might wonder? It's because we believe customer service is just as important as quality. On February 20, 2024, I reported a bubble on one of the two faucets. I was asked to send a photo (see attached photo), which I emailed that same day. The initial response to this was, "Quote: Dear Mr. …, The warranty on these faucets is two years and has unfortunately expired. We can help you supply a new faucet for a fee. If you're interested, please let me know and we'll prepare a quote that needs to be approved. End of quote." No empathy, no attempt to reconcile (for example: we find it incredibly annoying and propose that we each pay half). Absolutely nothing! A phone call follows, and it's suggested that we contact the supplier to see what's possible. On March 5, 2024, I inquired again about the situation and received the following response: "Quote: I sent the photo to the supplier and asked to arrange a new spout under goodwill or warranty. However, the claim was rejected with the following response: Good afternoon, we have also checked with our supplier. This spout is no longer under warranty. Unfortunately, no spare parts are available for this. It's frustrating when something breaks, and we at Bakker Postma understand that. However, we are not responsible for costs if something breaks outside of the warranty period. As frustrating as this may be for you, we are happy to help. The price of the tap is €276.00. If you would like us to order it for you, please let me know. End of quote." Because I believe the bubble on the tap should not have developed in such a short time (actually, not at all) and that this cannot be caused by use, I have stopped communicating with Bakker Postma and contacted my legal expenses insurance. A letter from the lawyer is sent to Bakker Postma, and the response from Bakker Postma is: "Good afternoon, after further internal consultation with management, it was decided to provide you with a new faucet free of charge. We will deliver it to you as soon as possible. End of quote." We believe that Bakker Postma could have prevented the above and received a 5-star rating from us if they had provided excellent service instead of hiding behind conditions. If they had offered an acceptable proposal, both parties could have concluded the matter satisfactorily. Missed opportunity!
