Highly recommend Rijschool Westfrisia. I specifically looked for a driving school with skilled instructor who can also deliver lessons in English and to learn driving in a middle sized SUV. Raymond has plenty of experience and knows how to prepare his students well for the practical exam. I passed on the first try!

Last Friday, I passed my driving test at Westfrisia Driving School, and I look back on it with great satisfaction. I found the driving lessons enjoyable and educational. Raymond is a dedicated driving instructor who believes it's important that you feel confident on the road. He's honest and clear in his feedback: he tells it like it is and clearly explains what's expected of you to prepare well for the exam. This was motivating and made sure I knew what to expect. I also really appreciated his flexibility in scheduling. When I contacted him to start, I was able to begin lessons almost immediately. Sometimes the scheduling got a bit messy, for example, when appointments weren't completely clear. At the same time, he was always willing to help with rescheduling appointments, and a solution was found quickly, which I really appreciated. Communication via the app or by phone was also always prompt, which I really appreciated. During the lessons, I received patient and calm guidance. There was room to indicate when I wanted to practice certain parts more or retake them if something wasn't going so well. All in all, this helped me take my exam with confidence, and I look back on my driving lessons with satisfaction. I highly recommend Westfrisia Driving School!

I received excellent guidance during the lessons, and at the end of each lesson, he took the time to point out areas for improvement, so I knew exactly what to work on. A very disappointing and frustrating experience with Driving School Westfriesland My experience with Driving School Westfriesland was unfortunately extremely disappointing and caused me a lot of frustration and unnecessary costs. I absolutely cannot recommend this driving school to future students. From the very beginning, communication was a problem. I rode my own scooter, which I also wanted to take the test on. The instructors were aware of this. The pass rate is also low. I had to take the test with another student, but he also failed!!! After paying €1000 for a package, I was ready to take my test with my own scooter, but the examiner wouldn't allow it. The instructors never informed me that my scooter was unsuitable for the test. This unnecessarily increased the total cost of my driving lessons and delayed the process. And they refuse to reimburse the €390 exam fee, even though it is their duty to accompany me on my own scooter. Their response was that if you ride your own scooter, it's your own risk. Ultimately, I decided to get my driver's license at a different driving school. And once again, I paid the €390 exam fee myself. I hope no one does business with this driving school. My advice: Look for another driving school.
