It was disappointing experience with VZVR. In the beginning Cor was helpful and his teaching style was good but all of a sudden he abruptly ended our lessons without any mutual consent but with one long text message stating - I was persistently asking him to book an exam. Yes I did ask considering I am confident that I’m ready to take exam. VZVR is caring more about his school rating and I care about mine how I spend my time, energy and money. VZVR poor communication led to disappointment and frustration and eventually with no response from him I had to find alternate options.

Cor is a great driving instructor, he has passion for teaching and real interest on learning the student to drive for life. Thanks to him I finally passed the exam, after having been before with another driving school.

My experience with VZVR was disappointing: I wanted to learn to shift gears but was pushed towards automatic transmission, the two-hour lessons were exhausting, and despite paying €650 for 5 lessons, I received no response or refund for the remaining €856. The teaching style and the way I was treated were completely unsuitable. I agreed to a full package with VZVR in installments, but I stopped because it didn't feel right for me at all. Instead of confidence, I felt more insecure. The lessons are typically two hours long. That didn't work for me at all: after an hour and a half, I started getting tired, which affected my learning. Even though the terms and conditions state that I'm entitled to a refund for the missed lessons. I paid €650 for 5 lessons, and so far, I've been completely ignored. What also surprises me is that some students are apparently satisfied and have had a completely different experience. That makes me think it might have been personal, but I don't understand why. It made me feel like I wasn't being taken seriously. Fortunately, I've since found a new driving school where I'm taken seriously and learning to drive with confidence. In my email, I indicated that I had 10 hours of driving lessons, not "ten lessons." Your response therefore shows that my message wasn't read properly—which also explains why I never received a response to my email or WhatsApp messages. I've saved these messages as proof. Furthermore, it's true that I canceled a lesson once, and that it wasn't within 24 hours. I understand and accept that I'll still be charged for that lesson. According to my calculations (hourly rate €65), after deducting the lessons I took, I'm still entitled to a refund of €206 from the €856 installment I paid. Incidentally, your statement is also financially inaccurate: at €65 per hour, "10 lessons" would mean 20 hours, or €1,300 in tuition — while I only paid €856 and drove for 10 hours.
