Inadequate Solution and Very Poor Aftercare/Communication Since November 2024 On May 13, 2024, we accepted the quote for the installation of an Atlantic Aurea Hybrid Add-on heat pump by ASN Installation Dokkum. The installation took place on November 12, 2024. Since the installation, we have been experiencing structural and very frequent problems. On average, we have a malfunction once every two weeks. Now, when we come home, we always look up at the utility room cupboard. As soon as the button turns red and the thermostat turns red, we know the system is malfunctioning. The corresponding message in the Plugwise Home app is consistent: "NO COMMUNICATION, THERE IS NO OPENTHERM COMMUNICATION WITH THE BOILER." Impact on us (Financial & Personal): The consequences of the structural malfunctions are now significant: High Costs: Due to the heat pump's failure, we are repeatedly forced to heat entirely with gas, resulting in unnecessarily high heating costs that contradict the reason for our investment. Lost Time: We have already had to unintentionally take many hours off work to accommodate engineers for the numerous service calls. Personal Impact: The constant uncertainty about the system's operation, the cold, and the frustration with the poor care provided by ASN are starting to take their toll and are now negatively impacting our relationship and peace of mind. Our Experience with Service, Communication, and Solution Attempts: - Poor Communication: Communication with ASN is very difficult. Emails are delayed, and callback requests are often not honored. We are often told we will be called back the same day, but this never happens. Scheduling necessary appointments can also take weeks. - No definitive solution: Previous visits often resulted in a simple reset. Technicians are now reluctant to visit, claiming a reset is the only option. This is unacceptable given our maintenance contract and the ongoing nature of the problem. Visit with Supplier (Atlantic): The appointment with the supplier was difficult to schedule and did not provide a solution: they reinstalled the SMILE program, after which the errors returned. We spent a substantial amount of money on a heat pump that often doesn't work, resulting in high heating costs and unwanted loss of free time. We expect ASN Installation Dokkum to: Take the problem and the communication complaints seriously and immediately. And to provide a binding and definitive action plan to resolve the issues, with adequate compensation for the high gas costs already incurred and the lost free time, if the problem is not resolved in the short term. Based on these prolonged, unresolved outages and the unacceptable service and communication, we cannot recommend ASN Installatie Dokkum at this time.

We recently had a hybrid heat pump with a central heating boiler and a heat pump water heater installed by ASN Installaties to replace our old boiler. We received excellent advice regarding our choice from the company's sales department. This included a home visit with a clear explanation of making our home more sustainable. Installation was possible within a short time. Two very skilled and friendly technicians from ASN installed everything in two days and left the workspace tidy. We are very happy with it.

My heat pump's outdoor unit started making increasingly loud noise. I contacted ASN after searching for an installer who was skilled in heat pump maintenance. The technician who came to inspect quickly discovered that the fan motor shaft was faulty and was sticking. ASN installed a new motor shortly afterward, and my heat pump is now whisper-quiet again!
