TL;DR: Very little price transparency; felt like a classic Mandemakers sales pitch. Some time ago, I visited DB Arma Keukens. I spent about 3.5 hours in the showroom, but by the end of the day, I still had little insight into the actual price structure of a kitchen or the factors that determine that price. Various end-of-year promotions were discussed, but apart from a "free" cookware set (which I have no need for; I'd rather just give a fair price), it remained unclear what these promotions actually entailed or yielded. The salesperson, though friendly, indicated that he normally works in the office but was in the showroom due to busy times. He said he was fully aware of prices and options. At the beginning of the conversation, we were asked about our budget. I normally don't comment on that, but given the positive first impression, I suggested a (deliberately conservative) amount. We then put together a kitchen with two options: - a minimal version ("this has to be it"), - and a slightly more elaborate version with a few extra options. After signing, the salesperson walked away and returned with a price proposal: the minimal version happened to be just over the stated budget, while the more elaborate version was another €2,000 above that. There was no clear justification whatsoever, especially since the difference consisted only of an extra cabinet and a different countertop, which wasn't even exceptionally expensive. That felt opaque and started to bother us. Because we were already 3.5 hours in, we agreed to leave it for now and discuss it further by phone that evening. During that phone call, it turned out that the calculations and drawings had "suddenly" been recalculated and redrawn, resulting in the more elaborate version suddenly being €500 under the original budget, a difference of €2,500 compared to the previous proposal. Given the earlier claim that the salesperson had complete insight into the prices, this strikes me as, at best, chaotic and, at worst, unreliable. A day later, I visited another kitchen store that carries the exact same kitchens and materials. They didn't ask for a budget. We simply discussed the desired materials and layout. The result: a clearly better-designed kitchen, more luxuriously appointed (more drawers instead of shelves and an additional pantry cupboard), with better appliances and more extensive features than the "extensive" version at DB Arma, all priced at €500 within the same budget, with comparable service terms. For me, DB Arma Keukens was unfortunately not a successful experience. The second star is therefore for the salesperson's friendliness, although he also seemed to be trying to exert a bit more pressure during the phone call.

We bought our first kitchen there. The refrigerator broke after two years, the microwave caught fire twice within two years, the countertop wasn't working properly, and the sink was scratched after six months. We had a response from someone about it. We had a new thermostat for the refrigerator, which worked fine for two months. Now, every day, the refrigerator and freezer are completely frozen, and everything in them is also covered in ice. The kitchen is terrible. We have to clean the cabinets every day, it's a real disaster, but no money back or warranty. We'll never go back to Arma Kitchens again. They're very poor, and they don't offer any warranty service anymore.

Bathroom installed by Arma Sanitair. Complete from demolition of the old bathroom to complete delivery. Very neat tiling and beautifully finished.

The first meeting went well; we were there on Saturday for the live cooking. Unfortunately, we weren't properly guided; my mother needs guidance, and she didn't get it. The 3D drawing was supposed to be sent that same day. After a week of not hearing anything, we called. It turned out the woman in question hadn't done her job properly and asked if we'd like to come in for a chat. We did, and the gentleman took over the business. We were supposed to receive a drawing that same day. Again, after a week, nothing. Called again, the drawing was made quickly and then rushed, with strange additions we hadn't even asked for. My mother has already been called three times, one after the other until it went to voicemail. Sorry, but you don't do that, especially not to your client. These calls were all before closing time. My mother answered once when the gentleman didn't have time for a chat; it was more of a chore. She was called six times (!) in a week, even though we had phone appointments, none of which were kept. Finally, I called Arma, and the conversation was utterly arrogant. We weren't allowed to speak to the director because he didn't have time. No time? If there's a complaint, you want to resolve it immediately, I assume?! Well, I'm done with it. We'll go somewhere else where we'll get proper, professional help—that's the most important thing. Addition: I strongly requested that our information be deleted and that he not contact me again. After this, the man called my mother three more times, three days in a row! I'm honestly surprised by the violation of privacy.
