In week 21, I contacted Arjan van Vliet because of the good reviews. The initial contact was positive; we agreed to him coming on the evening of the 27th. Unfortunately, that didn't work out, and I called that same week to reschedule. This was agreed upon, and it ended up being the evening of the 28th. On the evening of the 28th, no one showed up. Arjan was supposed to arrive at 8:30 PM. I called again around 9:00 PM, but there was no answer. I left a voicemail. I didn't get a call back all week. Then, a week later, on Monday, I called to ask why he wasn't there. He acted surprised and was certain he'd kept all his appointments that week. He didn't have his calendar with him and couldn't check it. No apology or anything; I got the feeling it was my fault. Arjan said he'd call in the evening because then he'd have his calendar handy. We waited all evening, no call, nothing. Now we have to look for another gardener.

Arjan van Vliet Landscaping is a super-clean company that always keeps its promises. Unfortunately for Arjan, the last job was postponed slightly due to unforeseen circumstances, but this was discussed very clearly beforehand, and we knew what to expect. The job has since been completed perfectly, as expected. Last week, Arjan single-handedly raised and expanded the garden with paving. He has already redesigned two other gardens for us, completely to our specifications, with new paving. This time, he worked with several colleagues who were also very clean and efficient. In short, I'm extremely satisfied with this company, and if I ever need a landscaping company again, I will definitely contact Arjan. I've been there three times to discuss buying a new lawn. Never once did I encounter anyone knowledgeable.
