Maratec Maastricht came to replace the fabric of an awning. However, they suddenly discovered a broken motor. The awning was working properly before the appointment. The motor was replaced at a hefty price, but after that, everything went haywire. With some bizarre jerking and pulling, the awning frame broke. The mess was left behind, and the employees left (scared to death by this near-fatal industrial accident!). The company never offered any solution or compensation afterward, even after legal counsel ruled in our favor.

Everything went perfectly! I chose a screen for the back of the house. It was delivered and installed on time. The installers were friendly and professional, and they even helped me with work they weren't there to do. Absolutely fantastic!

I ordered a large awning in May 2023. Initial contact went well and was satisfactory. The awning was supposed to be installed before summer. Now, a substantial down payment and nine months later, but still no awning to be seen. Emails and messages were promised to be responded to, but nothing could be further from the truth. Delays and weather conditions are okay, but I expect proper communication and a suitable solution from Maratec. I've lost all faith in this company.

Very dissatisfied. At the end of February, I ordered an expensive screen from Luxaflex, which was supposed to be delivered within three weeks. It's now been 14 weeks and there's still no screen to be seen. We've sent Maratec at least 15 emails, and they simply don't respond. Even when we do get through to the owner, we get comments like, "You don't need a screen in this weather anyway." The owner doesn't bother us either, saying she'll call back, but then we hear nothing again. We're at our wits' end and hope this review will motivate Maratec to honor their commitments. Otherwise, we'll try to cancel the purchase agreement.

A truly terrible company, and I actually wanted to give it 0 stars (poor service, wrong product, and no communication). Moreover, all appointments are rescheduled. We ordered a new front door in December, which was supposed to be delivered in mid-March. Of course, the installation was postponed by two weeks, and the work was supposed to take four hours, including the finishing touches. When the installation itself took three-quarters of a day, there was no time left for the finishing touches, and we had to reschedule. We also discovered that the door was incorrect and that we had ordered something different. The door was temporarily installed, and then we had to lobby for four weeks for a suitable solution—obviously, that they order the correct door (which was the company's mistake). The new door would have to wait another three months. We had to force an appointment for the finishing touches on the door (sealing, moldings, and installing the door latch) because otherwise we would have had to wait three months (and they wanted to reschedule that appointment as well. When we insisted, the owner hung up on us). The door was supposed to arrive this week, but after asking twice, we were told yesterday that it would take another 6-7 weeks longer. When were they supposed to communicate this? .... We're hoping for a positive outcome, but we'll never, ever come back. What a disaster!
