We tried two times to arrange a viewing. We contacted them via Funda the same day that the houses were posted on Funda and contacted them by phone the next morning. Both times they responded that the viewings were full. We have been looking for a house for a month now and this is the first time we have not been able to arrange a viewing for a house we liked (since we check Funda every day and we indicate our interest within a few hours). And this happened twice with this agency.

Last week I requested a viewing of a house. Unfortunately, the viewings were full, and they expected to sell. This week, the house was still listed as available, and the text hadn't been changed to indicate that viewings weren't possible. I then called to say I was still very interested and would like to buy the house sight unseen, if necessary. I'm used to the suffering of the Randstad housing market by now, so bidding half the asking price didn't seem entirely out of place to me. So it's not allowed?! Apparently, this shop requires you to come and view the property before making an offer. This seems like cronyism to me, to see what they're up to and whether you're a good enough buyer. What a disgrace, and a very incompetent real estate agent. You'd expect them to sell a house to the highest bidder and not close the door on an offer beforehand.

We sold our old house and bought a new one through Alders. Clear information and agreements were made upfront. Communication was short, and any questions were answered quickly. Even at the end, they empathized with you and provided sound advice. Even if you've lived somewhere for 33 years and are moving, they're completely understanding. Thanks, Yvonne and Antonie 👍
