For our project "Restoring the facades of our house," we found Tjade Timmer through a Google search. After initial contact by email and phone, we scheduled an appointment to discuss our needs. Tjade viewed our house, and we explained our challenges and problems. Tjade took this into account and quickly came up with a very surprising design. After we agreed on the design, we moved on to choosing materials. The design included Rockpanel. Tjade visited us with a wide selection of colors and patterns. After we had chosen the colors and pattern, the final drawing was created. We were allowed to keep samples of the materials, which we admired for quite some time, repeatedly wondering if they were the right colors. Because we were awaiting decisions from the most renowned institute in the province of Groningen, and this took quite some time, we eventually opted for a different color scheme. We informed Tjade of this, and he understood our choice and adjusted the drawings. During the sessions with Tjade, we indicated that our confidence in contractors and construction workers had plummeted. Tjade reassured us, saying, "I know someone for this project, and they won't let you down." Tjade suggested hiring contractor Pijper from Winschoten for this project. After initial contact with the contractor, the quote quickly followed. The quote looked good. A few final touches were made. Finally, the institute gave the green light, and the work could be scheduled. The work was handled expeditiously, and in our opinion, we were assigned two carpenters who were excellent at their craft. Finally, true professionals who carried out the work correctly and neatly. Thanks to Willem and Mark. The entire operation took about four weeks. But we are, in short, extremely satisfied with the combination of Tjade Timmer and contractor Pijper. Erik also deserves a big compliment for providing the right advice at the right time. For us, this project was a more than successful one. And if we ever need another job done on our house, we'll definitely call on Tjade and Erik again. Thanks, guys.

We've had a bad experience doing business with this company. Therefore, request a clearly detailed quote beforehand. We had a structural calculation done by a company and then asked Pijper Bouw to install a steel beam. Ultimately, it turned out that installing a steel beam wasn't necessary when they arrived on-site. We had to pay costs, which is understandable, of course. However, in our opinion, these costs were completely disproportionate to the quoted amount, the hours worked, and the cost of customizing the beam. Unfortunately, the company was purely businesslike in its response to our expression of dissatisfaction. Therefore, carefully check beforehand what each part of the quote costs and how many hours they charge for each, how many actually needed, and at what rate. In our case, the cost was disproportionate compared to other companies.
