After a fire in our house, Schaaf Alkmaar Construction Company took care of the complete renovation. We immediately seized the opportunity to renovate, including an extension and making the house more sustainable. What we remember most was how well they helped us explore the possibilities during the renovation. We also received excellent support throughout the entire insurance process, which was a huge help during a difficult period. Communication was always clear and smooth, and any problems were resolved quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased with the final result and look back on a wonderful collaboration. Highly recommended!

Jan helped us completely renovate our house. He's creative and willing to take risks that other contractors shy away from (they like to keep things simple and easy). The week before the renovation, Jan even came up with an idea (of his own making) to completely overhaul the interior. We were all for it and haven't regretted it to this day. Among other things, Jan moved the kitchen, removed two load-bearing walls, and professionally installed new steel beams. We ended up with a huge and spacious house, something the neighbors are jealous of because their contractor didn't dare/want to do that. It's great to have a contractor who thinks along with you and is creative; most people could learn a thing or two from him.

Our renovation was a major project: an extension, full insulation, and the installation of a heat pump. Schaaf did a fantastic job; every step was discussed with us, the finish is beautiful, and everyone who worked for us was skilled and helpful. Nothing but praise!
